Family Camping Trip

Last Wednesday I left for a camping trip with my family, sadly Chris could not get work off so he didn't get to come. We went to Escalante,UT which was a 7 hour drive to the top of the mountain. It was pouring rain when we got there so we had to wait for the rain to stop before we could set up camp. Thursday we took the 4 wheelers up to the lake and spent most of the day fishing. The lake was gorgeous and we had great weather while fishing. I got a lot of sun and my nose and head got really burned. After more 4 wheeling we had a great dinner and roasted smores by the campfire. Friday was the same as Thursday, fishing and 4 wheeling. My nephew Jaedon caught his first fish and it was the biggest fish caught! Jaedon also got in an accident on Friday. He has his own mini 4 wheeler and as he was riding with his dad he took a corner too fast and fell off. He scraped his hand, arm and knee but luckily was not hurt. We had a great campfire and made cobbler and then went to bed. Saturday was spent driving home and I had a great shower that night (I love hot showers after camping)! It was a great trip and I had a fun time with my family. Hopefully Chris can come on the next camping trip!

I can't believe that you went to Barkers!!!! I haven't been in forever, it seriously is my favorite place. Looks like you all had fun. Did you carve your name in the family tree? Don't tell me you broke tradition!!!!

Looks like you had a good time and you guys caught a lot of fish! Did you bring any home to cook for dinner?

I haven't been in about 10 years either. We couldn't find our tree but we found yours, so we made a new tree! We did bring fish home, but I don't eat it so my dad has it all!
