Boston

Chris is a huge Boston Red Sox fan (remember he tattooed their logo on his back) and he has made me one too! Every year we try to go see the Red Sox play somewhere in the country but this year we scored tickets to see them play in Boston! And it just so happens that I have a cousin living there right now! So we left our Conner Boy and took a much needed vacation!

We saw a lot of historical buildings and really cool articheture.
Walked most of the Freedom Trail in pouring rain and saw a lot of history!
Which also made me realize that I need a huge crash course on history before
Conner starts school.
Hit up some touristy spots and took cheesy tourist pictures!
Toured Fenway
And watched the Rex Sox win in extra innings!

Toddler

I love finding the little treasures around the house that remind me that I have a toddler in my house! Like chapstick that got run through the dishwasher!

Doors

Growing up my parents marked our height on the coat closet door in their entry way. I always loved doing this and seeing what my height was and I still love looking at all of the measurements on it (I have also shrunk, or was measured wearing really high heels one day)! I have carried on this tradition and have been marking Conner's height since he was born. I measure him every 6 months. He loves to open the door and look at it and point at the lines. I am amazed at his growth every time I measure him! I hope that my door will someday be as full as my parents door and if I ever have to move, you better believe that door will come with me!

20 Months

As of last week, our "baby" is 20 months old! That means in 4 short months we will have a 2 year old! And we are not ready for that! Conner is so full of energy lately and loves to keep us on our toes. He is always active and doing or getting into something and is constantly making us smile and laugh! Conner is at such a fun age and we love every second of it!

At 20 Months Conner:
-Is wearing size 4 Diapers, 2T clothes and size 6 shoes
-Has 2 new teeth coming in, thankfully! He has some large gaps just waiting for teeth!
-Says mom, dad, no, yes, shoes, coke, bus, dog, cat, meow and a lot of stuff we don't understand
-Loves bubbles outside from his bubble blower machine but hates the bubbles in his bath!
-Only drinks a bottle before bedtime. We have cut out his morning bottle and he is adjusting well, we just have to feed him pretty quickly after he wakes up.
-Loves to go on walks! He loves riding in his stroller but sometimes likes to walk or push his stroller
-Is becoming such a busy body. He is always getting into things.
-Sleeps in his big boy bed, but sometimes ends up on the pillows on his floor
-Goes potty on the big boy potty before bed and has gone POOP in the potty twice!
-Went to nursery for the first time and loved it
-Spent his first few nights away from his mom and did great!

The Yard

On Easter my crazy husband decided to plant a tree in our yard and new flowers and bushes. Last year we planted late in the season and could only purchase annual flowers but this year we bought early in the season and purchased perennials. I have always wanted a weeping will tree so we purchase a smaller one to plant in our flower bed. I can't wait to see everything grow! Thank you Babe for all of your hard work and for making our yard look beautiful!

Easter

Easter was so much fun this year! Conner was more into it and actually understood what was going on. He woke up in the morning to a trail of eggs leading from his room to his basket/wagon. He has never seen Easter eggs before, but saw them and started picking them up and shaking them, which I thought was cute! I really wanted to go to church on Easter but it is at 11am, which is nap time, and of course Conner fell asleep at 10am so we didn't make it. And Easter night we had a wonderful dinner at my brother's house with my family!

Conner's favorite thing from the Easter Bunny is his bubble blower machine and of course the candy! We haven't really had a chance to use his wagon due to weather, but we have used it in the house and he loves it!
