It's crazy how fast they are growing!! We will soon have to geta new car seat for our littl guy too!! It's fun but sad that they will never be this small again.
Yeah! A big boy car seat!! Have you read/heard about keeping them facing rearwards as long as possible (i.e. PAST the 1 year/20 lb rule)? Something to do with their spines not being fully developed and it's safer for them in case of a crash. I haven't fully looked into it, but will with Baby Girl.
Thanks everyone, we think Conner is cute too! And Steph, I know to keep him rear facing until 1 year and or/30 lbs.I've heard a couple things about keeping them rear facing longer but we will see what happens!
I know you weren't asking for opinions, but I have to share this information. Watch the video on this website http://www.joelsjourney.org/ before turning Conner around at 1. Also, this is from the AAP's website "Infants should ride rear-facing until they reach the highest weight or height allowed by their car safety seat’s manufacturer."
We are the Gillespies! Chris and Amber met in 2000. Got married in 2005. Had Conner in 2009. Had Braxton in 2012. Bought a house and 2 dogs along the way! And are living happily ever after!

Oh man! Just recently I was talking to Adam about how big Zack looks in his car seat compared to when he was born. It makes me sad too.
As soon as I can Parker is making the same leap. Icky infant carriers.
By they way, what a cute little boy he is.
We have that same Eddie Bauer car seat.
Ha! That's funny:) What a good idea to do that picture. I may have to copy you!!!
