Morning Sickness

Morning Sickness sucks ass! I hate it! I can't eat anything because I throw it back up, but yet I have to eat. My body is sore and tired and all I want to do is lay in bed. I know that it doesn't last forever but right now it really sucks!

Popsicles really helped me. I think they numbed my gag reflex or something =)I also ate crackers before I even sat up in bed in the morning...it helped when I could do it but other days I had to go pee too badly to wait. I had heard that sour candies helped so I tried them and it did. I got sour jolly ranchers and would suck on them when I would start to feel nauseated. By recommendation of my doctor I stopped taking my prenatals for awhile and then started to take them every other day at night, right before bed. It helped TONS! They also gave me some medicine that really worked, but it made me super sleepy.
I bet you get tons of advice, but hopefully something you hear will help.
I hope you feel better soon! I know it's no fun at all, but like you said it doesn't last forever.

I cant totally relate. I thought it would never end. Once I hit week 13, everything changed..thank goodness. If the morning sickness gets too bad our doc can give you Zophran, it helped me a lot.

Little tip from your favorite dental hygienist. Make sure that you DON'T brush your teeth at least 30 minutes AFTER throwing up! The stomach acid causes the PH in your mouth to decrease leaving the enamel on your teeth weak. If you brush your teeth right after you can be doing more damage than good (i.e brushing away the enamel on your teeth). So just rinse your mouth out with some water, which will try to help neutralize the acid in your mouth.

Hang in there girlie! I had sour things to suck on during the day and that really helped me. Hopefully you find something that can help you!

I've been stalking you too!! I'm so excited for you guys. I started getting sick when I was around 10 weeks pregnant and it didn't end until around 15 weeks. I would throw up every morning and every night no matter what I ate or didn't eat. Now I just throw up when I have no food in my stomach. Nothing even helped me, like crackers in bed or those bracelets. but hopefully it won't get worse for you!

Im wishing you much luck!!
